Did you know 90% of all human suffering and disease is now caused by stress? Lawyers suffer at a higher rate. Many attorneys worry about working extremely long hours and not enjoying their life, even worse; getting sick from the stress. Her goal is to help people before they have symptoms of physical and mental issues.

Cynthia also helps with secondary PTSD, also known as vicarious trauma, burnout, anxiety, depression and addictions. In addition to lawyers, she works with their spouses, physicians and law enforcement.

She has presented to University of Colorado and Denver law schools several times, along with Colorado Trial Lawyers conference, Colorado Legislative Legal Services, Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, Lawyers Helping Lawyers, District Attorneys' Office 4th Judicial District and numerous other legal groups.

Her presentation covers:
* What happens to the brain when it gets triggered by stress throughout the day.

* Statistics regarding stress and the body.

* Description of different Brain States, (1-5) and how to get out of an unhealthy Brain State, when triggered.

* Why people have strong cravings, can't sleep, trouble focusing and feel physically ill.

*  Why ignoring your own stress, keeps you from feeling joy in your life.

Bring your own brown bag lunch -- beverages provided. Please specify if you'll be attending in person or via webcast. Program is a free member benefit event co-sponsored by the CWBA, CBA and CoLAP.
