Please join the CWBA Foundation on Thursday, February 9 from 6:00-8:00 for the "Appealing for Justice" - CWBA Foundation Scholarship Fundraiser celebrating The Honorable Jean E. Dubofsky, Colorado’s first female Supreme Court justice.
Justice Dubofsky and author Susan Casey will speak about Appealing for Justice, which chronicles Justice Dubofsky’s groundbreaking path as one of the few women at Harvard Law School in 1964, to civil rights attorney, to her appointment to the Colorado Supreme Court in 1979, to her lead role in the landmark gay rights case of Romer v. Evans.
The CWBA Foundation is honored to host this event at the beautiful home of another Colorado trailblazer and CWBA Member: Stephanie Donner, Chief Legal and People Officer at Galvanize and the former Chief Legal Counsel for Governor Hickenlooper.
The $50 ticket price will include entrance to the event (address to be provided upon purchase), light appetizers, and wine. All proceeds from ticket sales will support CWBA Foundation scholarships to CU and DU law students. Signed copies of Appealing for Justice will be available for purchase by cash or check.
