James, the first Black woman elected to the University of Colorado Board of Regents in over 44 years, State Representative Elizabeth Velasco, the first Mexican-born and LGBTQ legislator from Colorado’s western slope, State Representative Jenny Willford, an environmental advocate and former Mayor Pro Tem of Northglenn, State Representative Mike Weissman, a dedicated lawmaker focused on economic justice, housing reform, and climate action. We will also be joined by part of our CWBA lobbyist team, Amanda Gall of Meridian Public Affairs.

The evening will be emceed by Cori Stewart, a CWBA member, lawyer, and stand-up comedian, alongside Sarah Parady, Denver City Council Member At-Large and former CWBA President.
