Created in 2004, the history captured in this video spans from the turn of the 20th century through the year 2005. It depicts the history of women in the law in the state of Colorado. It highlights trailblazers such as the first woman licensed to practice law in Colorado, the first African-American, Latina, Asian-Pacific American, Native American, and Lesbian admitted to the practice of law in the state and/or appointed to the judiciary. it shares personal challenges and biographical stories and discusses the formation of the Colorado Women's Bar Association. It is a must-see DVD for women who are interested in the study of law and for all young women everywhere for it is inspiring and thought provoking.
