ANNUAL LEGISLATORS APPRECIATION BREAKFAST

Each year in November or December (depending on the election cycle), we hold a Legislators Appreciation Breakfast where we recognize the CWBA’s role in the General Assembly and honor the work of our legislators.  This event allows our members an opportunity to engage with 15- 25 legislators on issues of importance to the CWBA. Funds raised through the event also support our year-round public policy and lobbying efforts. 

Our 2020 breakfast was held virtually on December 8. The CWBA honored Colorado Speaker of the House KC Becker with our Champion of Change Award. 

The 2019 breakfast was held on November 13 at The Studio Loft at Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver. The CWBA honored Colorado Senator Jessie Danielson with our Champion of Change Award.
