There’s a name for this, and it’s called Toxic Positivity, which is forced, false positivity, according to Dr. Susan David, author of Emotional Agility: Get Unstuck, Embrace Change, and Thrive in Work and Life.

At this Café, you will hear CWBA President Miranda Hawkins and CWBA Board Member & Colorado Court of Appeals Judge Jaclyn Brown discuss how it is okay to not be okay. They will share their personal insights and tips to avoid Toxic Positivity in order to lead authentically and with emotional agility.

We will also give away a few free copies of Brené Brown’s Dare to Lead – just in time for the Dare to Lead workshop at Convention on May 21st!

On What Grounds? is a LIVE Virtual Leadership Café that invites an authentic connection with your fellow CWBA members and leaders. We will chat about what is REALLY on your mind right now, and we will be there to support you, in both your personal and professional goals.
